Biography
Amar is a Senior Associate in the top commercial law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn. He is based in the firm’s Glasgow office where he specialises in advising clients on property acquisitions, development and property finance.
Amar has an excellent reputation and is highly regarded by his peers. He has acted for many of the major national lenders and well known residential developers in relation to significant property finance details.
His attention to detail and articulate advice has contributed greatly to his success and he plays in a vital role in the growth of his team.
Amar moved from Pakistan to Scotland at the age of 7 years. He is a former pupil of Hamilton Grammar School. English was his second language and he attended special language classes in order to become fluent in English.
Amar went on to graduate from Strathclyde University in 1999. After completing his Diploma in Legal Education he trained with a local law firm in Motherwell. He worked hard and had ambitions to work for a large commercial firm.
Amar is now well known in the legal and commercial property circles as an expert in his field and continues to impress his colleagues and peers. His clients often praise him for providing clear and practical solutions to complicated legal problems.
