Biography
Like any organisation, successful law firms depend upon attracting talented staff who care about the quality of their work.
Leading Scottish firm, Burness Paull LLP, was therefore delighted when Fiona joined as a Trainee Solicitor after gaining a First Class Honours degree in Law followed by a Diploma in Legal Studies, both from Aberdeen University.
Fiona soon proved to be a great addition to the Burness Paull team with clients and colleagues impressed by her work within the firm’s Private Client division.
Further evidence of her talent came in 2013 when she Fiona was named Outstanding Student of the Year at the STEP Excellence Awards. STEP is the worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with family inheritance and succession planning.
Fiona is now an Associate with Burness Paull, providing legal advice to private individuals, families, employers, companies, trustees and executors on a wide range of matters, including succession and estate planning, Wills and Powers of Attorney.
Her work is often demanding and can involve very large sums of money but Fiona finds it very interesting and takes great satisfaction from protecting her clients’ interests and helping them make important decisions.
