Kevin is therefore pleased that his knowledge and experience, built up over many years working with a wide range of family firms, both large and small, helps his clients protect something so important.
He also enjoys his work in many other aspects of business law, including the building, acquiring, selling, investment in and the re-organising of companies. This often involves complex legal work which requires great skill and accuracy because millions of pounds are at stake. It is a big responsibility which is one of the main reasons Kevin finds it so satisfying.
Kevin studied in Spain before deciding he wanted to become a lawyer and, having gained the necessary qualifications, studied law at the University of Strathclyde. His highly successful career has been based mainly in the west of Scotland where he is now a Corporate Partner in the Glasgow office of the award-winning international law firm, Pinsent Masons. Kevin has also worked in the firm’s London office and helped set up offices in Belfast and Aberdeen.
One of Kevin’s key responsibilities is overseeing the recruitment and development of the firm’s Scottish trainees, making sure that tomorrow’s impressive people find their way to Pinsent Masons.
