Biography
Murray was attracted to the law at an early age when he watched the TV courtroom drama LA Law. At that point he saw himself as an advocate specialising in criminal cases. However, as a student at Glasgow University he was drawn to commercial matters and in his early years in practice specialised in employment law. This has provided a good base for a highly successful career. As one of the first generation of his family to reach university, Murray is proud to have made the most of the start it gave him. His colleagues certainly seem to be impressed having chosen him to lead Anderson Strathern as the firm’s Managing Partner.
